I have been involved with fashion and image making my entire career and have extensive knowledge of the industry and it's people, I'm very passionate about style in most genres and very driven to achieve a high tableau I work well under pressure and meet my deadlines, and believe I'm a easy-going, creative, fun person to work with.

Get into the glossies and photograph editorials with edgy, exciting, stylish narratives and make it noticed that New Zealand fashion photographed is as good as the best internationally.

Long term Career objective

Is to define my style and reputation through my photography and create a generation of memorable images of 'portraiture, fashion and advertising imagery'.

I am a VISCOM (visual communication) design student studying the Bachelor of Design Degree at Unitec. I feel my design work is an extension of myself it is a vivid visual metaphor that characterizes my personality and style. I use a variety of mediums installations, sculptures, illustration, printmaking, photography, typography and film within my design practice.

I am currently involved in a creative NZ short film entiltled 'Blood and Bone' as the still photographer and designer for publicity. I have created a series of Pain Art works and endevour to launch a first of a kind Pain art exhibition in Nz next year in conjunction with Auckland hospital.

I like that I am not constricted to just one style offers a way of thinking about the world that is significant for addressing many of the problems that human beings face in contemporary culture.

I am proud of being a women designer and express my femininity through style within my design work

I aspire to be a Children's book Illustrator I feel I have an affinity with children and like the idea of being a creator of Children's book illustrations. I love children and love how their imaginations are unconfined. They are a great target audience due to the fact their minds are still free and un-constricted. I used collage a lot as a child and have carried on through design school with this medium as one of my preferred techniques. I hope not to follow the norm but do what I like and enjoy.

Deep down inside the activist within me makes a loud cry "I have a desire to make bold political and ethical statements in the future."

On completion of my Bachelor of Design degree I intend on working in the field of Illustrattion and Graphic Design where I can gain experience and knowledge of contemporary design.

I am a visual communication designer who uses a variety of mediums within my design practice. My distinct style is a combination of a craft aesthetic coupled together with the refinement of computer technology.
